Wanted to post a couple of the many pics I took today as our storm here in Central Oklahoma progressed. Here at our place a little east of Moore, we have a temp of 22.6, wind at 40mph sustained and gusts in the last hour of up to 56. Blowing light snow and sleet still the mode but it appears heavy snow bands aren’t too far out. More in a little while. [...] Looks like he have our first naming of the winter storm here in Central OK. New model info is posted below. Yeah, you can’t see the totals, I know, but the reason for my posting these is to compare coverage of each of the models. If you REALLY want to see them, just click on [...] [...] Wonder if this will verify? Tonight’s models are all over the place. I’d like too see 8″ of snow on the ground tomorrow just for the sake of seeing it and playing in it, having a white Christmas, etc. It will interrupt our family Christmas travels though. Everything has a downside. Lets see how this works out. I have downloaded and sync’d the latest in iPhone apps for wordpress publishing so now it’s time to test the silly thing. I find it funny that for the last year or so, the word “extreme” and its numerous synonyms have been a staple for chasers, mets and otherwise. I’m not 100% sure where it came from but I have a hunch. Was driving home a little earlier and noticed this Goose (or is it a gander?) standing on the pond in front of our home.
