Current Conditions, Blizzard Central

Here at our place a little east of Moore, we have a temp of 22.6, wind at 40mph sustained and gusts in the last hour of up to 56. Blowing light snow and sleet still the mode but it appears heavy snow bands aren’t too far out.  More in a little while.

Is OUN Correct?

Wonder if this will verify?  Tonight’s models are all over the place.  I’d like too see 8″ of snow on the ground tomorrow just for the sake of seeing it and playing in it, having a white Christmas, etc.  It will interrupt our family Christmas travels though.  Everything has a downside.

Extreme / Mega / Ultra Weather!

I find it funny that for the last year or so, the word “extreme” and its numerous synonyms have been a staple for chasers, mets and otherwise.  I’m not 100% sure where it came from but I have a hunch.
