You’re sitting there wondering how the hell I’m going to tie in all the title subjects, aren’t you? Well, I don’t do it well but all of them are in here! Yeah, lame joke, I know. Anyway, it’s snowing like mad now here in Moore and we’re enjoying a slow day at the Miller Casa. Very busy today so the personal blog may be a little neglected. Went through and ran some maps in F5 with the above results. The GFS maps are based on 18z data, NAM 00z data. I’m throwing my hands up in the air with the surface and 700 temps. Be careful, the met talks REALLY fast. ha. Taking a moment to post some maps but that’s about it for right now. Consistency is key and there is no doubt that models have been consistent. Still some questions about temperature and precip mode timing. One thing is for sure, central OK looks to get pounded; fuel for the genset and other provisions are [...] [...] Playing around with F5 Data this evening and seeing the track and intensity of the upcoming storm system are eerily similar at this time. NWSOUN has already put us under a Winter Storm Warning and TUL has Eastern OK under the same as of this writing. Looking at details not presented here, a shallow pool [...] [...] Winter weather ahead for Oklahoma. This looks like it could be impactful and will certainly be a news item somewhere in Oklahoma and the TX panhandle although the swath looks to be quite thin from north to south. Some places will see a good bit of precip while 100 miles on either side [...] [...] Alright, two times in two days I have been in Norman and “redneck” has jumped out at me. Silly gooners… [...] |
