I would love to take out an ad offering a position open only to Caucasians and offering more pay by default than any other business and reminding whites to apply because the unemployment rate among whites is 4.3%. I would also note my business is “Caucasian Owned and Operated”.

Does anyone realize just how much negative feedback, lawsuits, etc. would result from such an ad? Why is it okay for any minority race to advertise they only hire their own kind, yet I would be crucified for doing so? Let’s not make this a race thing either. I have personally hired from many races so don’t go there. There is a fundamental problem here though and I’m not sure why it bothers me so much but it does.
It’s not just native american job ads; Hobby Lobby and Mardel companies based in OKC require you to be christian to earn a living. Chik-Fil-A, my favorite fast food place ever, asks their franchisees to hire from within their faith. They are, of course, closed on Sundays…
